Bastion is like the intern I always needed. It just needs some context and explanation of what I need and off it goes, often giving me back work that is better written than what I would have done. Bastion has seriously given me hours of time back, that is not an exaggeration. Tasks that took hours are now done at the click of a button. I could not go back!

Bastion is like ChatGPT but knows what healthcare practitioners need, including the privacy systems that are crucial to our work. It's easy to use, very little time is spent working it out as it has such a straightforward, clean interface. I love the system of prompts and have refined mine to get what I need. I tried many AI programs and Bastion hits the mark.

I can't think of many cons. If pressed, being able to select British spellings would be great, but you can ask Bastion to add use them in your prompt.

We are solving the problem of the shortage of psychologists, by writing their reports faster, so they can see more clients!

I love that the creativity level can be placed at zero to endure there is no ‘new’ or inaccurate information in the output. The HIPAA-compliance feature is a huge time saver because I do not have to take out identifying information.

Additionally, it was tremendously simple to set up.

I really appreciate the interface of BastionGPT. I've used several different AI programs that are for the health industry and Bastion remains the one that has the easiest usability. You don't have to go through a long process of figuring out how to use it. Over time, I think it's got better and better. I've gone from having it help me write up long components of my reports to also discussing case formulation and preparation for assessments of children. It's like having another brain to discuss things with.

I would have said the limit on the number of pages you can upload but that has been lifted to way beyond what I would need, so that issue is sorted. For the type of work I do, I wouldn't mind client folder sections but I think that would undermine the ease of use that I like and add another layer of complexity to it. So I'm happy with it the way it is.

When I first started using it, I would have said all the time it saves me in terms of writing up long interviews that I do, which took hours and now take a click of a button. But I use it for so much more than that now. I can write handouts quickly, personalise reports so much more than I could before, discuss case formulation, and I love that I can just 'brain dump' into it, and it will take that to make something that sounds right. I don't have to have all the thoughts ordered in my head first - it can order them for me.

BastionGPT is an excellent AI product allowing clinicians to work with a Chatbot within a HIPAA/APP environment and also includes an AI scribe for notes/reports. It is always works exceptionally fast and the team have been highly responsive and always helpful. Strongly recommended.

There are so many choices of AI out there now, and I tried a lot and kept going back and back to Bastion. It's easy to navigate, it has all the privacy features I need, and I can honestly say it's changed my life. I'm a psychologist and I do long interviews with parents that I can now record and do a first draft write-up in seconds. I make handouts, ask it to help with more lay-friendly language, and I even get it to do a first proof-read of reports by guiding it for what to look for. It's like having a really smart assistant who just 'gets' what I need help with straight away. Sometimes I think back to before it and shudder! Using AI well can change your life without replacing you, and Bastion is that AI for me. (It didn't help me write this because it's easy to rave out Bastion all by myself.)
